About

Songs, stories and music, drawing on the topic of crimes.  Crimes that we commit every day, against ourselves and against others. Based on the true, dark story of the traditional French song “il etait un petite navire” (there was a little ship), the performance narrates the story of humanity, the story of our journey in an endless game of straws. The performers bring together elements of each one’s distinctive performance background to mix dramatic aspects, storytelling and instrumental music, all in a contemporary and experimental mood.

Elena Hadjiafxendi, internationally known actress and singer, and Maria Yerosimou, harpist and interdisciplinary performer, narrate in their own way Crime stories from different cultures and music origins, to include tales and songs from France, UK, Greece, Cyprus, Spain and others.
